Astronomy

Ever wondered what you are looking at in the night’s sky?

Join the ‘Highlands Astronomical Society’ for an evening of stargazing, in the spectacular setting of Loch an Eilein.

This will be a chance to observe the night’s sky not only with the naked eye, but also with the aid of binoculars and telescopes. This exciting outing will involve practical observation with guidance, followed by a verbal presentation from one of the acclaimed Highland Astronomical Society.

Please note that practical observing is weather dependent. If unfortunately the sky is not clear, as the wee clouds are out, then the presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and an exciting computer based planetarium programme.

Open your eyes to the wonder of the night’s sky.
