Rothiemurchus has some fantastic hill lochs stretching deep into the Cairngorm Mountains of which Loch Einich is the largest and most spectacular.

These lochs are home to small Brown Trout and Char (Loch Einich) however to access these amazing ‘water holes’ there is walk of about 8 miles on foot but it is well worth the trek!
