These taster sessions are designed especially for children of 4 to 8 years who have no or very little previous experience.

This exciting experience will last around 20 minutes and entails:
 
Meeting the ponies on the yard Meeting the ponies on the yard
Learning a bit about them Learning a bit about them
A gentle led ride of approximately 10 minutes around the fields next to the stables A gentle led ride of approximately 10 minutes around the fields next to the stables
 
We can also accommodate older children and families on these rides as they are run at the end of the afternoon when the yard is less busy, so are suitable for any nervous riders. This is the ideal way to experience riding for the first timeand is a good introduction for anybody new to ponies. No roads.
 
Session max: 4 places
Session min: 1 place
Age: Minimum 4 years (under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult)
Experience: No previous experience required, not just for kids – adults can join in too!
Weight max: 16 stone (100 kg)
Participants: Wear suitable outdoor clothing & sturdy shoes with a small heel. Protective headgear provided.
Meeting point: M10 Stables - 15 mins prior to session - From M2 the triangle Car Park follow the red horseshoe signs to the Stables - click for map
Duration: Approx 20 mins Price: £12 per person
