Guided by a friendly Ranger walk around this magnificent grand house and witness for yourself the work that is ongoing to restore this outstanding building. As an extra special treat you are invited into the living quarters of the Grants to see the renovation work that has been completed to date.

After visiting the house you will visit the mysterious Doune church and graveyard. Be taken back in time and hear the myths and legends associated with this area and the many families that have been linked with Rothiemurchus for generations.

You will be given a running commentary and a pair of binoculars throughout the tour; this is fantastic way to discover Rothiemurchus. You’ll also be treated to some tasty home-made snacks during the journey and snuggle up under a warm Rothiemurchus Tartan blanket. If you don’t get the photos you want, don’t worry, we’ll give you a gift pack of Rothiemurchus postcards to take home with you to remember your time with us, or to send to friends to tell them what a great time you had!
