"Best place in the world to watch Ospreys fishing at close quarters"

Simon King, Springwatch

"I am writing to thank Keith for the fantastic opportunity he created when I came to Rothiemurchus last week . Although I have participated in other wildlife photography events, I have never experienced the level of enthusiasm and concern to ensure that expectations were fulfilled that Keith brought to the event.

It was brilliant to be able to photograph Ospreys and Black Grouse - and the otter sitting was a fantastic bonus. However, the knowledge I gained from Keith provided the icing on the cake and transformed a great experience into an absolutely brilliant one. Thanks - I hope I can book another day or two in July."

Steve Briggs
"Where else can you be so close to fishing Ospreys to get that shot of a lifetime"
Richard Bowerman
“Spectacular – top place in UK for filming Ospreys”
Mike Darling

Rothiemurchus has a long history of working to conserve the Osprey population. John Peter, 14th Laird, was awarded the Zoological Society of London’s silver medal in 1893 (designed by Landseer), for attempting to secure the Osprey population on Rothiemurchus and grandson, Colonel Grant received the RSPB silver medal in 1960 for his work in helping the Ospreys re-colonise Speyside. The Grants continue their conservation and environmental work today.
