Aviemore Railway Station is situated 1½ miles from Rothiemurchus. It is a pleasant 30-minute walk from the station to the Rothiemurchus Centre, however taxis are readily available.

Aviemore Station is serviced by direct National Express and sleeper services from London and the south, and also has links to all major Scottish cities.

Rothiemurchus is very accessible by train:

	3hrs from Edinburgh
	1hr 30mins from Perth
	2hrs 15mins from Stirling
