| “If you like trees – seriously like trees – then Rothiemurchus campsite is the type of spot you might go to and never want to come back from. It’s one of the best places in Scotland to enjoy swathes of indigenous Caledonian woodland, with a flurry of Scots pine, birch and juniper forest and wood shrouded lochs. There is really a sense of being somewhere genuinely unspoilt and pristine here.” |

| We are very pleased to offer 3 distinctly different camping areas to suit all our campers; a high level area set in the tall indigenous pines, one adjacent to the fast flowing Am Beanaidh burn that flows through the park, and one situated on an island where the burn splits. Our superb facilities including a heated amenity building with toilets, showers and a dishwashing area, plus a separate laundrette will make your stay positively pleasurable. We also have three ‘midge eaters’ that will help you stay as bite free as possible during your visit. Please note that no dogs are allowed in the camping areas.
Experience the many cycling and walking trails that start straight from your door in this area of outstanding natural beauty, or if you’re up for more excitement take a stroll to the Rothiemurchus Centre (10 mins away) where you can book over 50 outdoor activities, buy some local produce from the farm shop or enjoy a hearty meal at the The Druie Restaurant Cafe. Or perhaps you may wish to sit back, relax and get away from it all whilst enjoying watching the exceptional wildlife in this beautiful setting.
